Maumelle Charter Surprises Beloved Substitute Teacher

MCES school counselor, Mrs. Jordan, and Assistant Principal, Mrs. Wingfield, stopped by KATV studios on Monday to talk about the celebration given in honor of one of their beloved substitutes, Mrs. Jan Sharp.
Before Thanksgiving Break, MCES and MCMS surprised Mrs. Sharp with a retirement parade at school. Mrs. Sharp has devoted 10 years to Maumelle Charter working with all grade-levels and accepting many long-term substitute positions. She was always there to offer a smile, a compliment about the students in her class, and of course a big hug. Students were always so excited when they earned "Star Student" from her at the end of the day. We are grateful for the years of love and devotion that she has poured into our students and staff. We wish you the best, Mrs. Sharp.
